Team Snacks Cycling‘s Slow Your Roll ride is open to all WTFNB and Allies.
Meet up at Flat Track/Dogspeed Cycles for a chill 10 mile Slow Your Roll ride! Calais and Laura are leading us on this fully-paved novice friendly ride, with a snack stop at Maaribu on Guad, where gluten free goodies abound!
Saturday, 5/4, meet up at 8:30am, roll at 9:00am, and we’ll get back in time to say “hi!” to our old Cycleast buddies, now transformed into Dogspeed Cycles!
Our signature ride! This pace is casual for most experienced cyclists but could be more taxing for those who are just getting into riding. To ride at this average pace, you’ll likely be moving around 12-15 mph on flatter or downhill terrain but may drop to 8-10 mph on rolling uphill sections. This is a great pace to start at if you’re unsure of how far and fast you are able to go. These rides are typically 10-20 miles around town, and they are always no-drop (meaning we will never leave you behind). There will ALWAYS be snack stops.
Ride Requirements:
-Helmet
-Flat kit

Group Ride Etiquette:
Team Snacks is here to have fun and support you in all your cycling endeavors. We encourage getting to know each other out there on the road!
Please keep these things in mind when riding in a group:
-We ride no more than two abreast, although there will be times when we need to ride single file. Please listen for directions from the ride leader.
-Be mindful of where you put your front wheel. Please avoid cross-wheeling ⎯ either ride directly behind or beside someone.
-Point out obstacles and road debris. You don’t need to yell out every twig or pothole cover, just the things that may present danger or an obstacle to the riders behind you.
-Basic rule of group riding: If the person in front of you points something out, you need to point it out to the person behind you.
