Come Kickoff Bike Month with a mid-day free community party at Mendez Rec Center.

Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 from 11 am – 2 pm

The Bike Month Kickoff Party 2026 in partnership with Get There ATX (CoA TPW) is a free all-ages, all-abilities, family-friendly event celebrating the start of Bike Month (May) to promote knowledge of and participation in the various Bike Month events including but not limited to Bike to School Day and Bike to Work Day.

Grab a Xolo Taco, some snacks, and a canned drink!

Check-in when you arrive to get your free taco token (one per person), but don’t wait too long as it is first come first served for the first 200 attendees. This is good for a taco, one beverage of your choice (a sparkling water or an Athletic Brew while they last), and some grab-n-go snacks.
