The Bike Month Kickoff Party 2026 in partnership with Get There ATX (CoA TPW) is a free all-ages, all-abilities, family-friendly event celebrating the start of Bike Month (May) to promote knowledge of and participation in the various Bike Month events including but not limited to Bike to School Day and Bike to Work Day.

The event will include non-profit and civic engagement booths, bicycle safety and maintenance clinics, additional physical activities/yard games, sustainability information, map-making and city navigation activities, arts and crafts, FrankenBike (bicycle swap meet), other community and neighborhood partners, possibly ride demos by bike shops and vendors, and food trucks.
